Introducing ……ISE 10. We think this is the best washing machine money can buy….and its not the most expensive either. What's more, we back up that claim with a 10 year parts and labour warranty (for domestic use, 3 years for light commercial use)

What is ISE?

Independent Service Engineering (ISE) was formed in January 2006 to produce long life span domestic appliances.
We believe that environmental damage in the East is primarily caused by factories making products for consumption in the West. If the products we buy last longer the need to produce new ones is reduced and so is the environmental impact. To this end we chose partner factories from across Europe to work with our panel of engineers to produce our own brand of domestic products with maximising lifespan in mind.
Our machines are built to the highest standards, with long guarantees (underwritten with AXA). They are designed to be easy to repair by local independent repairers who are trained and equipped by us with spare parts supplied to them with no mark up ; thus making out of guarantee repairs good value relative to a replacement.
We intend to reduce global CO2 emissions by shrinking the UK domestic appliance market and encouraging repair over replacement. Not very attractive if your business relies exclusively on the sales of new products, therefore you will not see ISE in conventional electrical retailers. The first ISE appliance, ISE 5 was a quality, mid priced washing machine that came with a 5 year parts and labour warranty package and have been performing well in households all over he country. The aim of ISE though was to provide a no-compromise high quality machine and now we have that in the ISE 10.

Who produces it?

ISE 10 is made by Asko in Sweden. At Anglia Electrics we have a long association with the brand and have sold their appliances for many years. Unfortunately, Asko themselves wanted to concentrate on other markets, namely the USA and Australia/New Zealand and let the brand drop during the past few years hence the brand has not been available in this country.

What's so great about it?

It is engineered like a scaled down commercial washing machine. The tub and drum are high quality stainless steel and is supported by four damper units. Most appliances today, including many of those marketed as high quality brands, have plastic tubs suspended on springs this transmits all the vibration to the outer cabinet hence all the noises and vibrations we tend to take for granted. The unique design of the ISE 10 also does away with the traditional bellows style door seal that we all know collects mould and grease and tend to get holed and leak. The ISE 10 washes a 6kg load and can spin at up to 1600rpm and carries a AAA energy rating.

Really a 10 year guarantee?

Yes! No extended warranty payments, renewals, calling long distance call centres or long waits for service (in the unlikely event you will need it!) just call Anglia Electrics, (assuming you are in our area, national service is available from your local, ISE dealer wherever you are) and we will call at your convenience and give you a 3 hour window so there will be no hanging around all day waiting for an engineer. Yes there will be exceptions for misuse and, if you do use it commercially then the warranty will be for three years.

How much?

The ISE 10 is available now at £799.99. There will also be a £50 delivery, installation and customer education charge, we will also, if required, remove and dispose of your old appliance in accordance with WEE regulations. These prices all include vat.

The price of ISE compares favourably with other high quality washing machines such as Miele that do not come with a 10 year guarantee.

Dimensions

ISE 10 is a standard size washing machine, although you will have to allow space for the drop down door to open* in the same way as you would a diswasher. Please also note that the worktop/lid is not removable and must be kept in place.

* the outer drop down door is removable by your installing engineer (who may charge for this service) although this will leave 2 slots visible in the front of the machine. The door can be re-fitted if required at a later date.
